Pat Rooney - you nailed it! I think with Liufau it is a mental thing. He is not good at reading defenses. His progression is - Spruce, Spruce not open, run.

The Buff's offense reminds me of a high school - short dink passes, bubble screens. Why don't we ever throw to a tight end? Every time we do they catch it

Or a screen, or a misdirection?

The players can believe what they want, but the fans can rightly feel that that was a horrible performance against an inferior team. That's the best you can do after 9 months to prepare?

The players should watch Hard Knocks - "losing is not acceptable".

p.s. - stop bitching about the fans. The ones that stayed up unitl 3:00 a.m.(me included) are your most passionate!

That was one of the stupidest games CU has ever played, against a not very good Hawaii team. There were so many screw ups by so many people, including coaches, wouldn't know where to begin.

Everybody know when you have 20 seconds and no time outs, you take 3 shots to the end zone. You don't throw swing passes or short of the 1st down in the middle of the field.

I knew when they burned 2 first downs on their own 30 in the 3rd quarter it would come back to bite them.

It's interesting which incidents Marc Stine and the IFC choose to make public. Why did they try and sweep this under the rug when it happened last spring?

don't thing of it as a suspension, think of it as a delayed red-shirt year!

awfully expensive practice sessions when it costs you $35,000 to open the Coors Center and you only take in $15,000

Booker is right. Nobody wants to play in it, nobody wants to watch it. Season's over.

Here's some free advice:

1. Don't schedule games at 10:00 a.m.
2. Don't schedule games at 8:00 p.m.
3. Don't blow up the grass tailgate lot
4. Have ushers (like DU does at their hockey games) so that people are constantly walking up and down the stairs and disrupting fans view that sit on the aisle. Once people get accustomed to only being allowed to their seats at timeouts, they will adjust accordingly.

your welcome

start by recruiting some defensive linemen that can contain and rush the passer. It's no wonder the DB's look so bad, the quarterbacks have all day to pick them apart.
