Heads to Linkedin to check out your contacts.... then realizes you have too many to be bothered.

I use Chatgpt to help me revise various marketing pieces. More of a sounding board and brainstorming session vs create something whole cloth. I saw some insta post suggesting you ask chatgpt to identify your personality strengths and weaknesses.

I'm not going to lie, at least the weaknesses were spot on -- and it made specific references to prompts I've used in the past as justification for it.

I was more than a little spooked.

Given how much time was spent square dancing in both gym and music, I think my 10 year old self would be amazed at how infrequently I even see it, let alone not participating in it.

Wow, I'm so glad it ended the way it did. My initial spidey senses had this going in a very different direction. And closing the loop as it did, was a very meaningful end to this story.

Thanks for sharing DQ

Welp, I'm no Jenna but if you live where I think you live, it is 83% cheaper to live where you do than SF.

Plus, he is working for Meta. That should come with hazard pay.

I'm a definite 'it depends.' Having a severely alcoholic mother with some sort of psychological problem that my dad refused to address )and he traveled 3 out of 4 weeks for business for over a decade) doesn't make me particularly nostalgic for my childhood. I am nostalgic around my grandparents who were awesome. When they all died, my aunts were sure to give back some of the Xmas presents my grandparents kept. I still take out each Christmas my kissing Mr. and Mrs. Claus salt and pepper shakers that I gave my maternal grandmother - it was my first Xmas present I gave to her using my baby sitting money. That always gives me a smile and I'm confident my kids and hubby are very tired of hearing the story around them.

I am nostalgic at times regarding my kids being younger. But then I remember some of the hair-raising times we had when my younger two were in the thick of their developmental delays. Or #1's rather rebellious teenage period. That was tough. I am a bit wistful that I won't ever have that amount of quality and quantity of time with them again. But that's a job of a parent - to be fired for doing a job well. Hopefully I passed muster.

But I think I am more excited for the future than wistful about the past. Dadof3 is toying with retiring in the next year or two which will likely reduce his stress level. I LOVE my job and see no reason to stop my work until they decide they need some more time that I'm unwilling to give. My kids (knock wood) are all in good spots personally and work-wise. Roscoe is happy and healthy.

Now if we could just get the Orange Menace to take his psych meds or be pushed out of office, life would be a dream. (sha do be do)

I took it to be more isolation (in person at least) than spending time with people. But the needless consumerism bit, I fully support.

I lived one block away on 72nd/West End from Ashford and Simpson's Sugar Bar. Not sure it is still there.
