I will say that this is the first time she has willingly let me do her hair - usually she didn't even want to bother with a ponytail. A new experience for both of us.

I was the tomboy little kid who demanded all her hair get cuff off when I was about 5-6 years old - I had no time for bows or braids.

You mean screeching "STOP MOVING" over and over again isn't the answer?

To be clear I am getting away with a french braid for now instead of the fancy Rumi braid. If this obsession keeps up then we will attempt it for Halloween. We are definitely in loose messy braid territory. I will say it looks BETTER than when we started, I just want it perfect right NOWWWWW.

Anyone have tips for doing a french braid? I have a 4 year old demanding a "Rumi braid" (iykyk) every morning and my french braid skills Are. Not. It.

So far I've got:

a water spray bottle
A bristle brush
hair paste
ONE ADORABLE BUT VERY WIGGLY HEAD.

I don't have a screen protector but I do have a case. I think I just dropped it perfectly to break something internally, because there's no obvious crack on the screen itself.

I have destroyed so many cell phones since 2004.
