Enjoying an absolutely perfect California summer. You, my dear, are missing out. Had a sunset picnic dinner on the beach with some friends. The water is crazy warm! How you? How’s my favorite east coast dawg?

If you really feel this way, I think it's time you moved.

That's ridiculous, Matty. I don"t even charge that much and I'm in LA. I think you need to move closer to me.

Sh*t! I can't believe I missed that. Must get my head out of my ass and re-watch that season.

How's things?

Are you thinking about giving it a try?

Nope, rain. I think I'm watching too much Sherlock. What's "The Poppins"? Does it have anything to do with Mary and her umbrella?

Hi, FRIEND! How are you? I've been thinking about you. I even had a dream that I came to visit you in London Town!

Thanks! I did it about ten years ago, when I was in much better shape. I trained for six months, but was an avid mountain biker before that. If I remember correctly, it was 6-7 days of sleeping in tents, getting up at 4:30am, and washing my clothes in a bucket. Two days were 100 miles+.

ETA: it was grueling and exhausting, but I met the most amazing people and have fantastic stories to tell to anyone who will listen. So worth it!
