I hope you buy Joe a case of beer, because this may be your biggest story ever.
Poll came up for me after a few refreshes, and I was able to vote Speedycop. But may God Bless the four of you voting for the Teal Beast, this next year is going to be great for you all.
You're correct, it is bolding the last votegetter. Upon this log-in (via Firefox) it's showing the K-car in bold. And seeing how many votes the K-Car is getting, plus your reply to me, you now get my vote! (As soon as I can get it to work.)
I just clicked through to vote and also was informed by the site that I had already voted for the Speedycop planecar. Sure, it deserves it, but my vote is my vote, so WHAT DAT TEAL DO DOE
Jim! So glad you're doing better. I'm not over here too much lately, but when I think of Hooniverse, I always think of you and your weekend postings. Strokes are about as scary as it gets, with a huge range of severity and outcomes, so I'm so relieved and happy to see you doing so well. Welcome back, my friend, you have been missed,
Okay, I give up. I told myself I would figure out what R.A-S.H. stands for, but I can't stand not knowing any longer. Someone please tell me.
When I was in college, I wanted to airbrush a picture of my van on the spare tire cover on the back of my van, but I spent all my free money on weed.
Damn, scary stuff. I hope you are okay Jim. I know you'll do everything you've gotta do to get better, but that doesn't make it any shorter or easier of a process. Know that you have a few hundred (at least) friends here on Hooniverse, and if there's anything you need, make it known in some way. Don't make it harder than it already is. You've earned support from this community. A friend of mine has been going through treatment for brain cancer, and while he has insurance, it still cost a heckuva lot of money to get him driven to and from appointments. So if there's anything you need, please don't be too proud to ask. We would be honored to help.
To me, it's just a matter of which vehicle is the most impressive, largely in part due to the efforts put forth by the owner.
There are many desirable vehicles here. There are also some nice backstories. Both of these things are nice.
The cars that get consideration for my electoral vote are those where you don't need to hear the story. Just looking at them, you know the owner put in serious work, or it wouldn't exist.
The weird Corolla meets these criteria, but those fender flares, yeesh. Besides well executed, the work has to meet that incredibly subject definition of tasteful, as well. And yes, this is coming from a guy who likes donks. (There was a nice photo of a G-body Monte Carlo on 28s at the Detroit Inst of Arts, so HIGH CULTURE.)
The Midget EV is crazy. Impressive in every way. Wish I manned up and bought your 510 wagon by the way, Mr. Ith.
But it's a side project, a ship in a bottle, compared to Wothehellizat. Guy lives in this project. It's amazing. It's unlike anything. So that big chunk of WOAH received my vote pretty easily.
Also, I clicked on an ad after I voted. I'm so giving this new year!
Where are you finding them for sale? I troll craigslist and ebay and haven't found anything low mileage lately. (Not that I've been that diligent about it.) I'd love to hear more about your car if you really want to sell.
