Hey, Gent...

I'm really glad I found this... nice work!

By the way... I see lots of familiar 'faces' here too, which is a very good thing...!

Hey there Ashley...

Hope all is well in Idaho. Might be worth a return to BB since Intense Debate will cease to be affiliated. A new comment system will be put in place sometime today.

Saturday March 3, 2012...

Early evening right now and...
I feel recurring thoughts and even pangs of deep sadness now that a few days have passed since the loss of our friend and patriot, Andrew Breitbart. There will be times in the coming months, and I dare say into the future, when jarred by some political or historical or cultural event, I'm going to wish that I could join with Andrew in what I know would have been identical reaction on his part to those happenings; or to simply wonder what he would have to say about those occurrences... My thoughts and prayers are with Andrew's four children, his wife, and the rest of his family; I am so sorry for their loss, which is even greater than mine.

Andrew, dear patriot... do rest in peace, forever in the presence of the Lord...!

Thanks, CP...

By any chance do you know if it will be possible to archive any past commentary posted through the Intense Debate system once the new system is put in place?

There are some commentary exchanges, well researched on both sides at times, that I would surely like to keep if possible.

By the way...

Oh, Gettysburg...

The stories to tell about that place, on those days... like young men leaving medical units to return limping back to the battlefield with huge odds against their chances of seeing another day among the living.... The stories to be told...!

Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Peters (ret.) has a book, just released today I think, titled... Cain At Gettysburg... It apparently tells many of those stories.

Here and the DrudgeReport are the political journalist base camps for me. I read regularly, the oppositions remarks as well to stay prepared for frequent encounters with idiots... and I know that months from now I'll be leaving a comment here or at one of the Bigs and I'll have to stop and try to wrap my brain around the fact that this vibrant fellow that I admired is not going to turn up somewhere, giving commentary that will be entertaining and enlightening at the same time.

Our nation's exceptionalism was not some corny thing to Andrew Breitbart or to so many of us that visit here; it was just the way it was meant to be for the United States of America from the beginning, as the Founders intended it to be.

He may not be with us in the flesh but... Andrew's voice will remain among our own. Some principles will always endure.

Joel Pollack...

Great job in this CNN interview.

What a brilliant reply you made to the Sherrod question that was thrown at you...!

Somewhere up there Andrew Breitbart was smiling at that moment, thinking... "couldn't have said that better myself"
