Those quarterly checks from Amazon - I remember them well. I started there in 97 and there wasn't online reporting. You'd get the highlights by email quarterly, too.

Favorite site? I've got my account there, but I just don't get what's good about it. I go back regularly to approve requests and make posts, but don't really enjoy the site.

I think those are people who want to be entrepreneurs, because of the freedom and other great things it offers, but they don't have it in them.

Not sure somebody can pick to be their own boss. Seems like you either have it in you or you don't.

Glad to hear you had such a good time and great to see you. Oh, the TSA!

My post was meant to be tongue in cheek. I watch the sessions on video, just because I am running around and magazine things in the background, but I'd much prefer to be there in person.

Lots of networking opportunities at the sessions, and I am always learning from them.

Oooh, what kind of snacks does Grandma have? Mine always had tasteless Stella D'oro cookies, so it wasn't tempting to eat them.

I think you're more likely to see ThinkTank Seattle - not sure how many more "smaller" Affiliate Summits we can pull off. They take about the same planning as the big ones, and Las Vegas gets the nod by the vast majority of people in voting for a west location.

This was my 4th ThinkTank and I agree with everything you had to say - what a first class even from Brian and the crew, and such a worthwhile experience.

I was spoiled this time around with ThinkTank being right down the road from my house. That made it even extra great for me.
