I wouldn't say we don't care as the headine questions. We care deeply. I think America is just tired of seeing the long-legged mac daddy BHO lie to us with a straight face. Personally, I'd like to see him go to Camp David for a long vacation and give us all a much needed break.
Doesn't terrorist = 'freedom fighter'? Isn't that what the barbarians who were sawing heads off in Iraq were called by the left when we first ousted Saddam? The left sure likes to play with words but I wish they would make up their mind. I'm not sure if I am an extremist, a terrorist or a freedom fighter anymore. How am I supposed to move forward with my sinister purpose and plans if I am perprtually redefined like this? Life sure would be a lot less complicated if I would simply submit to the will of the world and allow myself to become an Obamadrone. Once we get that free healthcare, I think I'm going to set up an appointment to have a labotomy done. With half my brains scrambled, it might be easier to fall into line with our new fascist dictator's plans.

I stand corrected. You're right about it being a form of corporate fascism. I suspect there's many who would argue the case and accuse your thoughts as being a little simplistic but the more I thought about it today, the more I agree with you. I would even go a step further and say that the Fed is an attempt of the largest banks trying to monopolize but I don't know all that much about it yet. You would know better than me. Fascism is a very abstract concept that is tough to digest even after reading Jonah's book! Take care and be well too!
I agree with what you have said about the Fed being a conglomerate of private companies and no, that's no theory. I'm not so sure about calling it all fascism. That word gets misused so often, mostly because nobody truly can sum up its meaning in a simple Webster's style definition. I suggest reading Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg, if you haven't already, for a great definition. Bad thing is that the whole book is the definition so you'll have a bunch of reading to do. We can call the Fed what it actually is to inspire enough true revulsion without unecessarily tacking on a word that doesn't really apply in order to make it sound even worse. I simply think you'll be able to make a better case to the average Joe without throwing around the word fascist. It might be the best word to use in some cases but it turns off a switch in most people's mind.

Maybe not but we're a bit better than that now. I hate the PC game, as you know, but what does janine39 throwing the fact that a lot of the bankers are jewish have to do with anything? Anything ground in reality and facts, that is? I know where the sick little rabbit hole winds up so don't try filling me in. I already know where it leads and it's disgusting and shameful, no matter what time period it is, or ever was, said in. Me too! Which is why I like using it! I can hear his voice in my head when I type it out and it always makes me smile! He says it with such an air of disgust and it truly is fitting.
