- 2 - I didn't really think the heart transplant was symbolic, but I'm open to the possibility that it was. I just think that it was a convenient way to (1) explain Brittany's sunny personality (which contrasts with Luis' brooding demeanour) and (2) give an reason as to why Brittany was relatively 'inexperienced' (though not making her a total virgin was a refreshing change).

- 3 - Um...okay...o_O

- 4 - The supporting characters were just a tad bit neglected. But that brings us back to a fundamental question: how much do we really want to hear about characters outside the 'super couple'? In my opinion, describing them more would have made for a richer story. But for others, they may not give a flying fart.

- 6 - I mentioned this in the interview thread....I think that part of the fantasy is that women want to know that the man they're interested in is totally into them, and what better way for a man to show his interest by initializing physical contact and fulfilling her ever sexual desire? In a young adult novel, parents may balk at buying them for their innocent daughters when the male character is chasing the tail of the female protagonist like a blasted animal.
