I have never understood why anyone would want to download porn at work (unless they were saving it to a thumb drive for later viewing). That being said I'm sure that any change to existing policies will be completely insane. One agency I worked for (which was under the umbrella of Catholic Health Initiatives for IS/tech and HR) had insane content blocker software. No sex, no drugs, no illegal activity, no exceptions. I was running an outreach program for IV drug users focusing on sex workers. I couldn't even look at similar programs around the country, couldn't download papers or presentations on the subject and couldn't review educational materials intended for our participants. Good Times!
