of course I dont support the concept of slavery. That is ludicrous. I dont support the concept of slavery that I feel that we are all under now. Evidence that you didnt read anything I wrote.__Isn't the answer to your question the second paragraph of the post?

One other thing to mention, it is not around 500 congresspeople that I am talking about driving this policy. It could be a much smaller number. Like 10. The Fed Chairman, the Treasury Secretary, the President, The Speaker, the Senate majority leader, and a few of the worlds biggest bankers and hedge fund managers. Maybe a couple of big CEO's. So perhaps 20 people could set this in motion.

You make a very valid point. One that I have literally lost sleep over. That is one reason I do not post as often as I used to. I had to have some balance in my life. But you are right, we really are only about two weeks from the zombie apocolypse at any given moment. Our society is very fragile.

When the money runs out...there will be zombies... the food will be gone in three to four days at all the stores and then those in the city will begin to spread out down the highways. I can forsee city cops and national guardsmen, regular folks too blockading the exits to their towns...it is bad.

Well, then in this case you are in favor of government controlling religion. I cannot abide the thought myself.

Now as to the teaching of so called gay history in schools. There is no other word than asinine that I can come up with for such a boondoggle and waste of taxpayer dollars.

I always liked what Denis Leary said, “…you could make the whole package a warning, you could paint it black with a skull and cross bones on the front and call them Tumors and smokers would still buy them…they would be lined up around the block saying 'man I gotta get me a pack o' those tumors'...They are a drug, we are addicted, ok?"____The whole thing is stupid, I dont think at this point anyone thinks Cigarettes are good for you, I don't think anyone believes that they are healthful, but why is it anyone's elses business really?____

Such a fantastic comment. Really worthy of posting with minor editing.

Ok. Your point about not legislating morality being a falsehood is correct. Perhaps I should have said I do not want these people to define anything spiritual.

I don't know that I would say I am agnostic. I Believe. How about: "Questioning Christian?"

I was raised in a church where baptism was a full dunk. What If i wanted the government to define baptism this way? Sprinkling would be illegal. I have family who believe you have to be baptized in running water. So baptism in a big tub could be made illegal. How about defining what constitutes a preacher? Maybe they should have to have a theology degree? Or perhaps they should have to go to certain schools? If we let them begin to define aspects of what amounts to a religious rite then it will not be long until they begin to define other aspects of church. This is NOT about recognizing marriage as a common good. Who believes marriage is not a good thing? I understand the desire to uphold marriage, but you have to see that if YOU allow the government to tell someone they have to do something you want. Basically I do not want government defining ANY part of my worship or any part of what it means to be religion.
