And you are nothing more than a bully, and an ass. I have said in most of my posts that what happened that night took place between Patsy, John, Burke and JonBenet was a tragedy for all concerned. It was a horrible event that took JonBenet's life and forever changed the family. I can somewhat understand the decisions her parents made. I do not support them, but I can understand them. That is what empathy consists of. To be able to put oneself in the other's place and imagine all the horror and confusion and hasty decisions that had to be made. Malice? Not at all.

What I do not understand is how John and Patsy could walk out of that house and leave poor JonBenet's body laying cold under the Christmas tree, like a broken doll. I suppose they came to terms with her death before they called the police that morning. What a sad reflection of the family that picture becomes.

Here is the salient paragraph from JonBenet's autopsy.

On the anterior aspect of the perineum, along the edges of closure of the labia majora, is a small amount of dried blood. A similar small amount of dried and semifluid blood is present on the skin of the fourchette and in the vestibule. Inside the vestibule of the vagina and along the distal vaginal wall is reddish hyperemia. This hyperemia is circumferential and perhaps more noticeable on the right side and posteriorly. The hyperemia also appears to extend just inside the vaginal orifice. A 1 cm red-purple area of abrasion is located on the right posterolateral area of the 1 x 1 cm hymeneal orifice. The hymen itself is represented by a rim of mucosal tissue extending clockwise between the 2 and 10:00 positions. The area of abrasion is present at approximately the 7:00 position and appears to involve the hymen and distal right lateral vaginal wall and possibly the area anterior to the hymen. On the right labia majora is a very faint area of violent discoloration measuring approximately one inch by three-eighths of an inch. Incision into the underlying subcutaneous tissue discloses no hemorrhage. A minimal amount of semiliquid thin watery red fluid is present in the vaginal vault. No recent or remote anal or other perineal trauma is identified.

The statement about her hymen means that she had essentially, no hymen left. She had not been penetrated with a male member, but she had definitely been penetrated. A girl of 6 would normally have had an intact hymen, and no abrasions or bruises in her vaginal/vulval area. http://www.acandyrose.com/crimescene-thebody.htm

Attacking me isn't going to add any credibility to your posts, Sig_Turner. Actually I have a lot of empathy for what the Ramseys went through. I believe it was not premeditated murder, but a tragic crime of passion with unfortunate results. However, JonBenet had also been sexually abused, and this was stated very plainly in her autopsy and confirmed by other pathologists later. So there was abuse before what happened on that Christmas night. I have no idea if her parents knew about that prior abuse or not. Regardless, the way they handled the incident was criminal, if understandable.

Where is YOUR mind? I have said many times and posted a link to an analysis of the ransom note. Patsy wrote that note. The police even found a notepad in the house that matched the paper, the note was written with HER PEN, these are facts not opinions. Patsy was involved in the cover-up. We will likely never know exactly what happened, but the FACT that Patsy wrote that note means that she knew what happened to her daughter that night. Actually, if you consider your way through this horrible tragedy, you can understand why the Ramseys, especially Patsy, did what they did. In a sad way, it makes sense. They probably found JonBenet near death or already dead. They knew what had happened. If they called the police, their other child would have been removed from them so they would have lost both of their children in just one night. I believe that they made a lot of phone calls that night, to get advice, and they followed the advice that they got, perhaps with some additions like the ransom note. I'm sure they considered taking JonBenet's body outside the house, but they were intelligent enough to know that someone would likely see/hear them and there would be evidence in the car. So they tried to make it look as though someone had tried to kidnap JonBenet but inexplicably left her in the basement already dead.

I do not think that they were thinking of their money or their lifestyle at that time, only the end result of losing both of their children.

Yes, and burglars always leave a 3 page ransom note filled with phrases known to be used by the lady of the house and written in what appears to be her handwriting. Other than the friends the Ramseys called over that morning (going against what the ransom note warned), there was NO evidence that anyone else had been in that house during the timeline of JonBenet's attack and death. Here you go, here's a link to a great analysis of the ransom novel. http://www.forumsforjustice.org/forums/showthread...

The members of the Grand Jury likely had no idea who the Ramseys were. No one cared about their "lifestyle," that was a ruse they put forward as a way of becoming victims when they were in full knowledge about what had happened that night when JonBenet died. You are actually stating here that the Grand Jury members indicted John and Patsy Ramsey out of some sort of envy or jealousy of their wealth?? There are a lot of wealthy people in Boulder and NO ONE CARES. The Ramseys were not famous before their daughter was killed in their home on Christmas.

Wrong. There was absolutely ZERO evidence of anyone having been in the Ramsey home at any time prior to the crime. Patsy wrote the ransom note! http://www.acandyrose.com/12251996ransomnote.htm

You need to have the facts straight before you can make any pronouncements about the case. The information that was widely circulated was not true, and incorrect terms were used. JonBenet was strangled with a cord around her neck, not "garrotted." Her hands were not tied together above her head - there was a long length of the same cording loosely wrapped around her wrists. John Ramsey slipped one side of this cord off her wrist as he "found" her on the basement floor, but it was not tightly tied around her wrists in the first place.
