I'm cruising through Glenn's book Common Sense and I was wondering what your thoughts were on chapter one. Are you getting worked up? Are you ready to stand and fight for your rights? Do you want your country back?

There are many political platforms between Progressives and the Nazis. The Nazis had 25 points and they mirror some of the political platforms of the Progressives. For instance:

Point 7: " We demand that the state be charged first with providing the opportunity for a livelihood and way of life for the citizens." This shows that the Nazis were less capitalist and more socialist in their view point. The Progressives want the state to secure a livelihood for the people through welfare, medicare, minimum wages, etc. The difference between the Nazis and the Progressives is that the Nazis wanted welfare only for citizens (those of German blood) where as the Progressives want welfare for both citizens and non citizens.

Point 10: "The first obligation of every citizen must be to work both spiritually and physically. The activity of individuals is not to counteract the interests of the universality, but must have its result within the framework of the whole for the benefit of all." This is a rewording of Karl Marx's famous phrase of taking from those who have and giving to those who need. The difference here is that everyone works for the nation. Your sole purpose in life is to work for the nation. Hmm, that sounds very progressive to me. Need more proof?

Point 11: "Abolition of unearned (work and labour) incomes. Breaking of rent-slavery." What they meant by unearned work and labor incomes was money earned from rent, interest, dividends, capital gains, etc. In other words anything not earned through physical labor was was to be confiscated.

Point 13: "We demand the nationalisation of all (previous) associated industries (trusts)." A Progressive would think that GM, the banks, the tobacco companies, etc. would be better regulated by government and so did Hitler.

Point 14: "We demand a division of profits of all heavy industries." Can you say labor unions? Keep in mind point 11; they did not mean dividends but shared labor union profit.

Point 15: "We demand an expansion on a large scale of old age welfare." Like social security and medicare etc.

Point 17: "We demand a land reform suitable to our needs, provision of a law for the free expropriation of land for the purposes of public utility, abolition of taxes on land and prevention of all speculation in land." Kiss Emancipation Proclamation good bye under Progressive rules. Hitler was a Progressive.

Do to time and length constraints I didn't list five points but they mirror many of the Progressive talking points. I pulled these from the translation of Alfred Knopf of the Nazi Program which listed the points. After reading the translation I see very little distinction between the Progressives of this country and the Nazis of pre war Germany. I think the one difference that hasn't shown up as yet is the Progressive version of the "Finale Solution" to those that do not fit into their model. The Nazis clearly believed that "the good of the state before the good of the individual" was central to their thinking just as the Progressives do. I believe this thinking is misguided and dangerous and runs contrary to freedom and liberty. You cannot have a Progressive state that exists as a free state. The two philosophies are complete opposites. I think the Progressive movement is evil.

As Blackbeard used to say, "Dead men tell no tales."

Don't tell me that the propaganda mill doesn't work. They teach this pap in schools, they blast it on the news, and they have the celebretards preach and screech this hogwash. Anyone with a clue or two brain cells rubbing together can see that this whole thing is a farce.

The Progressives see it as an opportunity to shave and enslave a stupid public. I think we are toast. The ignorant out number the critical thinkers by about five to one.

Life struggles are what make you. Nothing worth anything is easy and how you react to adversity is what makes you strong. When all you have is fair winds and following seas it is impossible to navigate when the gale storms hit.

It is amazing that the government responds early Sunday to watch the border days after all this goes down. As for Americorps they currently have 540,000 members (source americorps website). Consider that the active Army is the single largest component of the United States military and it has 549,153 members as of February 2009 (source: wikipedia). Let's look at that number again. There are more people in Americorps than there are in the United States Marine Corps, or the United States Navy or Air Force. If the totals grow to 3 million there will be more personnel in Americorps than in the entire military force.

I ask you, "Are you getting your money's worth from Americorps?" How about the military? I'd take a military vet over an Americorps wuss any day of the week for handling emergencies, leadership, or any thing under the sun.

The people in Americorps get many of the same benefits that the US military does. The education money provided by Americorps is superior to the GI Bill. They also provide training on par with the military and they get pay and medical coverage as well.

What is amazing is that Americorps claims to help out in national emergencies and yet the personnel who do the bulk of the work are not Americorps personnel but the National Guard. National Guardsmen do the lion share of work without the glamor or the pay that Americorps does and they don't get the benefits.

I fail to find any reason for Americorps existence. It is a sham at best and I don't want to tell you what it is at worst. It is an outrage.

Do you ever wonder AlcinasOp how these con artists can get away with that kind of crime? I'm serious. In Texas they have a lot of these guys who seem to prey on the elderly. I'm hoping that there is a special place in Hell reserved for con artists.
