My good news is that I got San Diego Comic Con tickets! Right before Friday and Saturday sold out!
So good!!! I only purchased one book at San Diego Comic Con, and that was it.
I also did not love Rosemary and Rue, but the second book is a major improvement, and the third is an improvement on the second. I'm now current with the series and they continue to get better as they go, with occasional dips in quality, but never down to the level of the first book.
Now I am eagerly anticipating the next one!
As always I am excited and worried about the return of So You Think You Can Dance. They keep changing the format, and sometimes it doesn't really work. Last season was great though, so I am tentatively excited!
Face Off is finally returning!!!!
And finally, I'm intrigued to see what they do with Trial and Error season 2, and to see if they make it work with a whole new case.
Sometimes you need something small to cheer you up and today has provided that! Without realizing it until today, I accidentally dropped a change purse in a parking lot yesterday, with about $35 in cash and stamps, and a whole bunch of business cards. I had pretty much given it up as lost, but some of those business cards were for my sister's business, and the people who found it called her! Hooray for small deeds of kindness!
Yay! One month until I graduate!!!
Is it weird that my first thought was "How did they just apparate onto Hogwarts grounds?"
So...About a month ago I got in a car accident on the freeway with a semi-truck. I am physically fine, but my car is not. It took my insurance over a month to get around to telling me that because the situation is the semi-driver's word against mine, and I only have liability coverage, that I was responsible for paying for the repairs to my own car.
The car is over 10 years old, and it would cost more to fix it than it is worth, but I don't have the money to spend to buy a new one because my job situation is currently tenuous. My workplace is my family's business and it's looking like it could go out of business any day now, which would put me and about 2/3 of my family out of work. My options for a new job are limited because I'm going to school full time until I graduate in May.
Basically, what I'm saying is that I could really use some comforting gifs right about now.
Thank you for posting about this. I had no idea and I hadn't changed my patreon support of Storywonk because it supposedly was being split between Chipperish and Point North Media, but I will now move it all over to her website.
Work is so slow because half the company is on vacation. I am so bored...
