I don't really worry about difficulty settings. My main gamestyle is multiplayer where there is no difficult choice to choose.

When it comes to SP game I always play the game on normal, then if I go back to it I'll play i ton the highest difficulty.

They also started with XLBA games. They were all less than 800, but they did a test run with Castle Crashers and Braid to see if people would actually pay $15 and yes we fell for the bait. So all across developers decided that they too can sell a XBLA for $1200.
