Truly disgusting. I don't know why I'm shocked every time something like this happens. I guess I should learn to be shocked by good Samaritans and their kind deeds instead. Ugh.

King 5 has a new story titled "Families of slain Lakewood officers won't sue Pierce Co." I really hope it's true. I was just so disappointed in these families. The integrity and honor of these and of all other fallen officer's was jeopardized... Their families should live to honor them, not drag their names into the mud.

So... as long as a drunk driver doesn't kill anyone, he's allowed to skate 17 times?? I bet this man has only avoided jail because there were no major injuries to other people. Sadly, most of the time, we never hear about these cases until someone is hurt or dead and the community expresses their outrage.

I am impressed that someone finally thought to report about this obviously dangerous man. There needs to be a major change! Why is there no three-strikes-you're-out for these people?! They should be photographed and posted in the paper for all to see. Maybe their friends and families opening up the paper to see their drunk-ass right there might embarrass a few of these people into stopping driving under the influence. Nothing else seems to work.

How is this happening? Why are we "immortalizing" this piece of garbage?? He's a criminal. He's no Robin Hood. He's stealing things people worked hard to buy. My daughters have said he's "cute" and it's "exciting" but how funny would it be if he crashed a plane into a park full of playing children? Would he be "cute" then? How funny will it be when a homeowner shoots him dead after he breaks in to their home?? Not so funny. But at least some lucky person will have a foot cast of a dead guy.
