20 years ago, Woodinville still had a few unpaved roads. Until last year, there were signs along the main drag reminding you not to ride your horse in town, although I doubt that's been a problem for many years.

Everything within site of Lake Washington and/or the Sammamish river is slowly morphing into an enormous maze of roads and housing developments - Bothell, Woodinville, Kirkland, Totem Lake, Bellevue, Redmond, etc.. People keep pushing further east and north, but suburbia is never more than five years behind them.
