I wasn’t disagreeing with you; just letting you know. This is the most informed article the Post has put out in recent memory; most of the time, information and facts are omitted, misdirected or just flat out wrong. But then again, the Post had 8 months to get this article together, and they were quoting from the DA, so no independent thought processes went into the meat of this article.

I agree with you 100%, but another fact to add; when that scooter hits your car at 50mph, not only will you be responsible for your repairs, but also his medical expenses. Check the fine print on the "Un-insured Motorist--Bodily Injury" rider that is mandatory in NC.

You are correct, right NOW these job skills are not in demand, but the next generation is coming along without any "skill trades." It has been theorized that in 20yrs these trades will be scarce to none.

I got a laugh out of "Cherie Berry"; reminds me of the "Wedding Singer" line where Adam Sandler laughs at Drew Barrymore's fiancé about her name-to-be: "Guglia? Oh, so Julia's last name's gonna be Guglia. Julia Guglia! That's funny!"

This year is our 8th year to home school. (My wife now has all 4, with my 3yr old already writing his name and reading) The RCHSA has many, many programs for social interaction; there is also an option of attending specialized classes (like chemistry/business) and playing sports for local schools/organizations.

RWBush, again you are either misinformed or purposefully misguiding the public with your posts. The only people who have "carefully read" these health reform bills are the average everyday citizen concerned with the ballooning budget and overspending/overtaxing government. Many in congress admit to not fully reading any of the bills (having their staff do it for them). Even when Dirty Harry made his announcement yesterday about his bill having the public option and an opt-out clause for the states, more than half of those on HIS committee could not comment on the changes "because they were not fully aware of the specifics"!
