Absolutely. Much better than Berbatov's vs Liverpool, which was a little ungainly IMO....

I know, I know... I did say that, Berbatov has been a flat track bully this season - and a bloody good one! But he's obviously only scored against the 'easier' opposition because those are the only games he plays!

The majority of journalists on twitter are astonished that Berbatov isn't playing. No one can say that it wasn't a possibility though... Fergie loves playing 4-5-1 in the important games, and it doesn't suit Berbatov's game. Despite having been poor all season, Rooney plays the lone striker role much better than Berbatov does.

I still have to admit that I don't rate Tevez as highly as most people, and think that Berbatov is a much more talented footballer.

His finishing isn't that excellent, and aside from being incredibly hard to tackle and working very hard, there isn't THAT much to his game. Penalties always distort a player's goalscoring record, and Berbatov has scored significantly more goals from open play than Tevez this season.

City have only scored 1 goal against top five opposition all season, so the majority of Tevez's goals have come against the 'easier' opposition, usually including at least one penalty. Obviously Berba hasn't scored many against the better teams because Fergie never plays him! Despite him having played better than Rooney all season....

United weren't going to be able to fit Tevez, Berbatov and Rooney into the same side, and out of the three I'd personally say that Rooney and Berbatov are the better players.

Agreed Douglas... Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo and Giggs interchanging like mad was a joy to behold.
