A little off topic gents but for those interested I've set up a Fantasy Cricket World Cup League.
It’s free to enter at
http://espncricinfo.fantasyleague.com

The league is called FFScout Cricket World Cup, the league pin is 18017

The deadline is at 8.30am tomorrow morning. Good luck chaps.

Not to be a nit-picking nelly, but I reckon Roy Keane v Juventus is missing from that poll. I think most voting 'other' are thinking of that one

Never mind them buggers, all my posts are vanishing into the ether over there. Very odd. I must be banned because of yesterday's article ;-)

Completely discounted for cheating roguery. One of my earliest football memories, I learned the world wasn't fair at the age of 8.
Be damned to him. The second goal was alright though,

That was a brilliant performance by a great player. Easy to overlook the defenders in something like this

It was indeed a great buffet performance, swooping in like a gannet for the sausage rolls. Especially considering the stiff competition by Charlie "Just 20 Cornetto's" Adam.

Enjoyed the article, a few contenders spring to mind. Especially Roy Keane against Juventus in 1999. A performance that had Ferguson drooling:
"It was the most emphatic display of selflessness I have seen on a football field. Pounding over every blade of grass, competing if he would rather die of exhaustion than lose, he inspired all around him. I felt it was an honour to be associated with such a player."
He was brilliant that day, for a manc. ;-)

Damn! I was so close to including Alan Shearer and Ferenc Puskás too!

Yes but I rate Patrice Evra far higher than Clichy, he has failed to maintain his high standards (in my opinion of course) whereas Clichy has maintained a relatively mediocre level.
