That was without a doubt clearly the highlight of the whole movie... which is probably a sad indictment it as it was what? 5 minutes in? Utterly bizzarre and brilliant move.

Other than that it probably does meander along but I like seeing "different shades" of Mark Wahlberg.

Technically, he was... one of your kids who got chucked on the scrap-heap and we took up at 15 - not quite like Mustafa.

Darius is doing well, he's a good player still and I'm glad we have him in our new motley crew. Having picked up 19 points from 21 in 2011 all in all... everyone has been good. The Yak has been good... scored a corker of a volley (on theme, tangentially close-ish to scissor kick) as we humped Derby on Saturday:

I miss it too, mein original... it's all about moving forward though and Ron Swanson getting his time in the spotlight.

Muzzy was class though, clearly my favourite of the O'Neill and onwards era - Andy King, another Chelsea "reject", is getting up there though.

The Other Guys - bit weird, not actually very good really... but funny. ***/**** depending on your mood. Split the difference.

Ladies and gentleman I give you...

Mustafa Kemal Izzet.

You "expect" these things of your Rivaldo's etc... not the Andy Impey/Muzzy Izzet combination. Rooney learnt it here.

I think you're missing a beat here si, to be honest.

While Berbatov was pretty much bought and pushed Tevez onto the peripheries (and then out)...

In stature, sure, Tevez probably was "third fiddle" to Rooney and Ronaldo but that front three for the 07/08 season was a behemoth to behold and arguaby my favourite strike-force of the aughts until Barca evolved into the beast we now know and love.

As ambivalent as I am to United (don't like 'em, don't dislike 'em) I was often agog at viewing them attack - the understanding between all three of them and the way the attacked and counter-attacked with such pace, fire and incision was a beauty to behold. Definitely don't think he was stifled before Uncle Bulgaria arrived.

Off the top of my head with a fading memory it was alright (it still is) but we had far too many people with far too much load time and not enough efficiency on ID's part for it to become a marriage for the Scout.

It'll serve you well, it's capable and it does it's job and until you get mullered by cretins things like the 'thumbs up' will actually kind of work.

The thing with Messi is there is no denying his class ("hey Goddard, state the obvious!") but he makes that Barcelona side as much as they make him so that eeks in for me. He is almost definitely going to be regarded as the best player the world has ever seen, rightly so, but he has the good graces of being in a team that fits like a glove made from the silk of unicorn's tail.

Ronaldo is (well, was) the best striker [Ronaldo striker, Messi Forward - potato, potato] of this generation and he was the difference in that team. It's crazy to think but this Barcelona team probably would be just fine without Messi, the team as a whole is a star as much as the beacon at the centre of it all.

Your presence is definitely one of the few I do 'miss' from when I was much more abound on that part of the Scout. /sentimentalism.

Aye, I don't have much time for the people on there any more (literal time to get involved and tolerance of many of the people on there) so I've thrown that towel in and now I'll only comment around some form of FF/Scout based question or query if I am about really.

Sven is a Wile E. Coyote he is - playoffs (I'm not stupid) here we come! If you seriously want my word/opinion, I'll be more than happy to - just let me know.

I finally saw Four Lions and Inception last week... I'm behind the filmic times somewhat of late!

I have as much tactical nous as a blind badger but I think formations can be pretty redundant in description these days (Jonathan Wilson and Michael Cox sharpening their claws) with 4231-433-451-4411 all pretty much the same thing to a different man and tactics changing by the minute, I'd go with something like this from the squad we have:

Hart
Walker, Terry, Daws, Cole
Scotty P, Wilshere
Theo, Lumpard, Downing
Rooney

I don't think Glen Johnson is much kop so if we call up Walker we might as well at least give him a half, I would bring on Baines at H/T and give him another crack of the whip and I would at some point sub one of Scotty P/Wilshere and pull Lampard back allowing Ashley Young to try sub-striking for the national side...

But I know nothing!
