Good article.

Keeping the ball against Barcelona is the hardest thing in the world though, so Arsneal will need to be at their very very very very very very very best to do it. The pressing from this Barcelona side is more intense than anything I've seen. I do think there is a chance that Arsenal get a win tonight but the more I think of it the more I fancy Barcelona.

Fabregas will be even more instrumental than usual I suspect, if this is to succeed.

:)

Honestly though, I do think Ibra will be too much to cope with for the Spurs defence. He's a cut above this season, and I also expect Spurs to open them selves up a bit more than most teams would.

4-0, Ibrahimovic to finally get the credit he deserves from English pundits. 2 goals 2 assist and a masterly showing of power and skill.

Not biased or anything, promise.

Yes! Very good, that was him.

My first favourite footballer and basically the player who made me love football from the beginning. He was the star when Sweden took the bronze in USA 94. Cracking player, but career ruined when he broke his leg.

It's nothing short of legendary that they had Ali Daei on the bench. Had no idea.

I'll make a strong case for Tomas Brolin, that's for sure

Ugh I posted a really long comment about Bayer Leverkusen 01/02 but I don't know what happened to it. Blah.

I'll spice things up a bit then. Not the greatest side ever but a great side that failed to win anything - Bayer Leverkusen 01/02.

I don't really know why but their Champions League run and the way they finished second in the Bundesliga, German Cup and the Champions League in the same year really won me over. Some of them also of course went on to claim second place in the World Cup months later. At his testimonial in the club Bernd Schneider insisted on playing in silver shoes rather than golden ones, 'after all second is my place'. Legend.

Butt, Zivkovic, Lucio, Placente, Ramelow, Schneider, Ballack, Ze Roberto, Brdaric, Basturk, Neuville, Babic, Kirsten, Berbatov. A real mix of good, bad and outright funny players right there. There are not many sides I always come back to but that one was special.
