I am a British veteran and am in the mental health and human service field, I have been trying to get in to helping veterans for several years unsuccessfuly, veterans know veterans, I did 2 tours of Northern Ireland which I'm sure doesn't compare to what these guys are going through but I wish I could be given the opportunity to help, it is so sad to know that these guys are going through mental torture without the help and need they deserve.

Yes I remember walking home in winter in 2 feet of snow one year, I used to catch a bus but had to walk over a mile in order to do so.

Seems to me now and since I was in my early twenties that people have kids because it is expected of them when they get married well I am past the 50 mark and have been married for many years but never had the desire to have or want kids and neither did my wife.
If you truly want and love kids then teach them respect, cleanliness and responsibility or think again about the hardships involved in bringing up a family.
I would love to live in a 55 or older community but have a couple of years to wait.
