He just explained it. He will not be leaving the fight, but his role will be a bit different.

Good reminder.

The Repubs need to challenge the histerical Dems to point to where in the bill it kills kittens or whatever.

Ya think a good backhand would fix it? lol

I know that you don't this for all the love and kisses that you get, but neither should you have to be a referee and mom to all here.

If people feel like stirring up trouble, let's go to Huff Po and mess with them for a while. Those people are nuts.

Thanks Suzie.

Let me throw another issue into the mix on the eligibility question. We have two rising stars of great potential in Marco Rubio and Bobby Jindal. Problem is that for both of them their parents are naturalized citizens. Before we can run either one of them for president or vice-president, we need to verify that their parents had been naturalized prior to the birth of their respective sons.

Personally I am a fan of Bobby Jindal and it would break my heart if he could not run for president. I also like Marco, but he does not have the executive experience that Governor Jindal has, but Rubio would make a great V.P. for Bobby and then president. Just sit back and imagine 16 uninterupted years of that kind of quality in the White House. Almost makes you think the Gipper came back.

Ok, now back to our reality. (bucket of cold water, square in the face)

While I have not bought a "cup of coffee" in this way, I have, once or twice, told my waitress to let me pay for the dinner of one of our military. I also told her not to tell them who did it. If this encourages others to do the same then I am glad. I also made sure that I tipped for their meal as well.

Actually, I am more likely to do something like this in a restaurant that I seldom frequent. I much prefer anonymity.

Good catch. Thanks.

Yeah, he was not a good guy, but his problem only had to do with age and short of a Constitutional amendment Obama will NEVER be eligible to be president.

Thanks for the link.

I wasn't actually drinking anything when I wrote that.

I know you were not trying to be funny and it is a serious question and one that would need to be answered. I do believe that there have been crimes committed that warrant serious consideration for public execution, but I don't see anyone really pushing it that far. At least, not yet. Depends on where we end up before we recover. If we don't sink much further and can hold on past 2012 and start a serious reversal in 2013 then no executions. If martial law is implemented and no elections are held in 2012 and the progressive drones and thugs start going door to door with lists from websites like this and other American loving organizations, then the worst aspects of the French revolution are definitely a possibility.

Time will tell.

Good to see that someone has their priorities straight. I just hope he is as thoughtful when your birthday arrives.

I kind of understand the "standing" question. The courts would be unable to function if anyone could file suit for any reason or no reason. The issue of having "standing", I believe, has to do with limiting the plainiffs to only those directly harmed. Problem with the eligibility issue is that we are all harmed by the presense of a pretender operating out of the oval office. Maybe this is a class action suit with 300 million members in the class.

Consider too, the chaos that would result from Obama being perp walked out of the White House. While we believe in the rule of law, his supporters believe that the ends justify the means and for some of them it would just be a shame if they had to line us all up and give us the option of swearing allegience to Obama or taking a bullet. After all you do have to break some eggs to make an omlet.

The thugs that are this guy's ground troups have no problem using violence to achieve their goals.
Think SEIU and the Teamsters.
