The boys dad said that his son went over and said he was sorry as soon as it happened and that the lady, a mother of one of the other players on the team, told him that is ok I know you didn't do it on purpose.

In this article there are two statements "errant throw was intentional and reckless" and "engaging in inappropriate physical and/or sporting activity"

I guess maybe she have have preferred that the children should have been sitting there quietly either reading, or playing gameboys, or maybe just maybe she should get her head out of where ever she has it and realize that at a baseball field is where baseballs are thrown, sometimes not very well, and that a baseball field is where children are physical and guess what they actually play baseball there.

This just proves that you never know what is going on behind closed doors, this is just disgusting, I hope that this little girl gets placed in a loving home and makes a full recovery and becomes successful in her life.

Maybe the punishment should be that these brats are banned from riding the school bus for the entire 2012-2013 school year, let the punks walk, ride their bike, skateboard, or let the parents drive them, but they should not be allowed the privilege of being able to ride the school bus.

It was not a field trip it was field day, which is a day that the students and staff take part in outdoor activities. The mother is the one who was responsible and had a break in common sense by not having a a doctors note and providing sun screen for her daughter who according to the article has a documented type of albinism, this could be considered child neglect by the parent at the very least.

No I would not be shouting bloody hell, I would have sent the sunscreen with my child or in this case children with notes from the doctor, allowing my children to use the sunscreen. Now if I had sent the sunscreen with the doctors note and then the school didn't allow the use of the sunscreen that would be a different story, but that is not the case here.

The fault lies with the parent and nobody else.

What in the world does children in daycare have to to with this story? This was the fault of the parent not the school.
