Okay guys - it's the "vent" section - I have plenty to vent about . . . like us all, pick your topic - with this forked tounge admistration anything goes. I was SICKENED by the ND speech today, as I was by the photo op fly over, the GITMO releases, the federal funding for the Hamas supporters coming to this country - again, the list is endless. *SIGH* I sincerely take great solace in many of you and your insightful comments. I take solace in knowing there are SO many like minded people out there that believe in the constitution and this country! I take solace in your prayers. But I would be a liar if I did not admit I am tired, saddened, amd scared for this great nation. I have my own personal story that I hesitate to share. I have been in a profession where I quickly learned it can always be worse. I pray for you all and for this nation. I am afraid that is not enough. Keep praying all!! Stay strong and do not get discouraged. There is strength in numbers my friends!!
Like I said to Susan_n_WAstate - Di_R, thank you to you both!! Hang in there - stay strong. Do not acknowledge the obvious trolls. I take comfort in certain posts and opinions. I appreciate a good debate, however, am so discouraged I need to surround myself with like minded people right now. I pray for the true patriots of this great nation and take great comfort in knowing the "little people" WILL win this country back!! Keep praying!!!!!
Amen! I do not understand how people can buy B.O.'s B.S. . . . even my 4 and 2 year old see him on T.V. and call him a liar. Sickening - just sickening from 38 year old female who has lived her life following 10 simple rules. Following my faith. The unfortunate reality is many so called Catholics did and do support Prez Fonz. My great grandparents, grandparents, and parents would be proud - I am old school . . . have the moral fortitude Catholic leaders . . . As have I - But I too have been negligent. As I am sure you can relate, the main stream news is so over whelming (as is all of our individual lives) I get soooooo frustrated and *sigh* take more time than I probably should - to think out a post before I just shoot it out of my big mouth. I respect far too many of you to be flippant (VERY easy for my sarcastic personality) so I tend to over think what I respond to. Amen!! I literally was sick watching President Fonz today. More disgusted by the so called Catholic priests that were oozing over Fonz's leadership abilities and mere presence. WHERE IS THE MORAL FORTITUDE?!?!?!?! I was sickened by the so called Catholics that applauded the man who advocates abortion, stem-cell research, and the consceince clause (READ IT!!) My saving grace and faith is this: Much like the members on this site - like this country - The Catholic church will be saved by the lay people (grassroots) NOT by the so called leaders. I thank God for you all - It is truly refreshing and comforting to know there are people of like mind!! (AND with common sense!!)
Don't give up Susan_n_WAstate - as we all know, life can get crazy and this site can be frustrating with lost posts. We stand together. I appreciate the thoughts and sharing (not all) but many like minds. Don't give up girlfriend. Stay strong, stay focused, stay vocal! WE WILL GET THIS COUNTRY BACK! As a police officer, I have "taken the ride" and have tazered people in the field. Very effective by both accounts I might add. Alas, I have not had the opportunity to waterboard but would have no problem doing so if it meant saving lives of my fellow Americans. The bottom line: there are consequences for your actions!!
Let's it not go unnoted that Kathleen also got approved even though she also has not paid personal income taxes ($7,000 I believe). She also took six digit amounts of donations from one of the leading abortion doctors in the world - specializing in late term and partial birth abortions. It is beyond sick. Does not the constituition state the pursuit of LIFE, liberty. and happiness?! Abortion, most especially late term and partial birth, is simply murder. Do your research - watch an abortion if you do not believe these babies FEEL and SUFFER. God have mercy on this nation!!
He absolutelt IS pro-abortion - and does not apologize for it. Look at the Freedom of Choice Act - look at Kathleen Sebelius - look at his stem-cell research programs. He made it a point on day 2 to send his pro-abortion agenda to the country.
Look up the muslims '100 year plan' - you want an eye opener!! I am in law enforcement and post 9/11 was forced to take muslim cultural awareness/diversity classes. Learned a lot. Keep doing your research, stay informed, educate yourself and you will start to see things a bit differently.
