For some reason in Australia, they used to show the scene where she unhinges her jaw to swallow that hamster in the advertisements, kind of giving away the surprise I'm still inclined to think.

Imdb says Marc Singer appeared in at least one episode. Episode 10 season 2, playing some guy named "Lars Tremont".

It's a very good book. It doesn't show a promising vision for Japan's future unless things radically change though. Apparently bureaucracy is strangling everything and is killing innovation. Inertia seems to be the default position for everything and it's very hard to shift. The population is falling and if nothing changes, it'll have dropped by 50 million by 2050.

I bought this book called "Dogs and Demons" by Alex Kerr (in Japan in Roppongi no less) and it basically said that corruption in the Japanese nuclear industry has been there as long as there's been a nuclear industry. They've been cutting corners for years.

We're not too thrilled with him here in Sri Lanka either because it's suspected money from him might have gone towards the separatists in our 26 year civil war, which is fortunately now over as of 2009 (Two years come May 18th).
