Born in 77 so I just have the story of my grandmother. It was her birthday, she was at work, went to lunch, came back and thought everyone was pulling a birthday prank on her. Talk about a crappy birthday.
No lie, my friend once got hit by those flag poles. And she still made it to the field to march.
Guess who got to work the psych unit last night? I have never in my eight years worked psych. I was really nervous and then I was "all man these patients are so snowed it isn't funny." And then I drank a zillion cups of coffee on top a Mtn Dew Kickstart (which is a super gross drink) and now my chest kinda hurts. I think I might go take a preventive aspirin.
One year in the 90's I worked seasonal for the Gap and it RUINED Christmas music for me. Then the next year I worked Barnes and Noble and found out that they play the worst music on purpose to get the customer to hurry up and buy and get out since they were so packed. That was the year I was the top seller for the brand new "gift cards". I would just walk up to people and say "I can ring you up for a gift card and then the person you are shopping for can get what they really want..."
