Halfway through 3? Yeah, that's about where the shit starts hitting the fan non-stop. Do not worry about sympathizing with The Hound and Jaime.

These books are CRACK. I've been practically living them since I began the series right before the show started (currently 80% through ACOK re-read). No dreams, but damn if I don't go to sleep thinking about the characters, especially some from the distant past.

I know she doesn't have a chance in hell of winning, but you're right, she is at least making herself memorable.

As for Not-Rod-Stewart, he's worn that suit more than twice, and it isn't just any ol' suit: it's a Nudie suit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nudie_suit It probably cost more than his guitar, so I'm not surprised he'd try to get as much wear out of it on TV as possible.

Didn't someone on the Gkr loveblog refer to it at his cognito-ness? Because, perfect.

Also, Kevin? He'd probably be eliminated before they even arrived at the studio.

Now that is a fucking recap. Excellent job. Most excellent.

BUT, I wish you'd covered Watch What Happens Live where a blitzed FatNeck said what everyone was thinking (that Dale and Angelo shouldn't have gone before Beaumont), Gail and Padma were shown to be the stoners-with-munchies they are, Jenn Carroll was literally screaming drunk, and beloved Hootie was named fan favorite.

It's not just you! I love Naima; I feel like I shouldn't, but I can't help it. She doesn't have the best voice, but it's still a good voice. She puts all her heart and soul into her songs, and she actually performs, which is more than you can say for 'bots like Pia, Thia, or Stefano (I'm not convinced they have hearts or souls). I did think it was ridiculous that she sang with an accent, though. That was a bit much.

If you have not yet watched this show, get ta steppin'. Jane Lynch? Adam Scott? Martin "Bill Haverchuck" Starr?

Also, believe it or not, one of the best episodes stars Stephen Weber. Yeah, that Stephen Weber.

Hahahahaha...no, oh goodness no, sorry. I'm an old; the Smiths are one of my favorites. I meant I've never heard Arcade Fire.

The Smiths are divisive?

I've never heard them, but based on comments I've read at the AV Club, maybe Arcade Fire?

On a nostalgia note: we watched The Sorcerer's Apprentice this weekend because it was a buck on Amazon. They got a cheap laugh out of me when Jay Baruchel's character asked the Criss Angel knockoff if he was in Depeche Mode. It just wasn't something I expected in a a 2010 Disney movie.

That is...I can't even. Every day, the world gets a little darker.
