Might I also point out that me being female did not happen because a dude with blue balls in a dress dribbled water on my forehead while muttering about a dead guy, his dad, and a ghost?
I was born a chick. Catholicism was foisted on me at two weeks old. I could choose to leave the church, but it would be very expensive and painful to choose to leave femaleness, regardless of the financial benefits of doing so and not having to listen to morons slam my driving.

I work for a federal agency that pays various entitlement benefits. At least once a week I will get a call from some, um, l'll stick to the word "client" who will rant about federal waste -- then ask where his check is and complain about how low it is. This usually comes from an older client whose annuity payments have long since exceeded his contributions. Then there is a one in three chance he will finish it off with a racist slur about our president.
Sometimes I hate my job.
BUT for shear unwitting irony, nothing beats when I worked in a government archive. I regularly got pulled away from my regular job to respond to wingnut queries-- like why does the government hide the truth about Clinton selling Montana to China. No small number would also unleash on how the government is wasting his money. Really? Like by spending fifteen minutes answering your asinine question, pulling documents from the archives that prove Montana is still US soil, mailing photocopies to you? And when confronted with proof, did you change your mind?
Sometimes I hated that job, too.

"Politicize." This is one of those right wing habits, akin to picking one's nose and rubbing it on the wall, that disgusts me so much I can't even snark about it. This is why Roger Ailes needs to be filled with nitrogen and floated above 5th Avenue with corks in his mouth and anus.
