It sounds really good, I'd better pick it up soon! I like that you say the book teaches the lesson "learn to love yourself" - not many people do it enough. *sigh*
Sounds like a book that will have a profound affect on its readers. What an awesome review, thanks!

I'm looking forward to reading this myself. :) I love that there's no loose ends, cliffhangers are a little annoying. :) I think there were some loose ends in Sisters Red - wonder if there's a sequel? And are they really set in the same world? Does that mean appearances of characters from Sisters Red as well? Thanks for the awesome review Skye!

YAY there's so many dystopias coming out and I'm thrilled about them. I think dystopia is the new vampire, don't you? Hopefully these authors can bring new ideas to the table, but I'd read them all the same. :D
I wonder when these will come out in Australia? Usually we're a little behind the US in releasing new (US) books...
Hmm, I don't get what you mean about the cover for The List though? Maybe because the other gals have no heads? :/ And yeah, I love books with illustrations too, sounds awesome. :D
Thanks for the post Cass! And thanks for all your lovely comments. :)

I agree with Cass - thanks for being honest. :) I think I'll pass on this one, and you're right, the concept sounds not too original. Great review Skye!

I haven't read many mermaid books and I'm a little tentative about doing so, because I'm scared they'll all just be reworks of Little Mermaid (which I loved!). Do you have any other mermaid book recommendations?

I think Losing Lila is book 2, and Fated is another series altogether. :) Brodie's right, Sarah Alderson has major potential and I can't wait to see what's next. :D
I totally agree with your review - I loved the romance in this book, not only was it realistic, but total swooon for Alex! Great review!

Aww, that's alright! I'm sure all your readers will still be here for you no matter what, and I wish you good luck with your studies. :) Don't stress too much, and keep smiling!

I love mythology, and the one in this book sounds intriguing. But strong characters are also really important to me, and this one does sound a little bit like a Mary Sue. Hmm, thanks for sparking my interest Skye. :)
