I wish more people today would read and study history a little more. History does repeat itself, and if we at least have a little insight to the past we could help to prevent a repeat.

Of course it's unhealthy for the government. When any people express their views in opposition of any government it is seen as unhealthy by that government because it threatens their seat in power. That's the good thing about the United States. We are "suppose" to be able to "fire" someone from office if they don't follow along with the view of the public.

We in Texas must have just been put on this list of extreme, since we have declared state sovereignty over the federal government.

It's about time the States started standing up for themselves. Thank God I live in Texas. Like Texan2 said (and Gov. Perry), the line has been drawn. Hopefully the States keep the pressure on and this doesn't die out or loose visibility.
