Hi Freebird,
The discipline of a morning and an evening meditation have assisted me in all but eliminating my anxiety. It didn’t happen overnight but persistence has definitely paid off !!! Last summer, I got into the practice but when the circle ended, I became somewhat lax and irregular in my meditation practice. I am happy to say that at this point, I am back on track and intend to remember this lesson and continue to meditate at least twice daily.
To rid myself of my anxiety, I first began to closely monitor exactly where in my body the anxiety manifests.....for me it is in my gut.....then discover what triggers it. In the beginning, I got real good at “chasing” the anxiety away using my three fingers technique. But after some time, I found that “chasing it away” didn’t really help anything. Then, with some great feedback from the folks here, I learned to just sit with the unpleasant sensation while at level. Let it talk to me. After the “gut or fear knot” had it’s say, it seemed to lose all it’s power.
As I write this, I just realized that it has been quite a while since I felt my “fear-knot” at all!!!!

This summer is almost over and it prompts me to take care of something before it is too late. Hi All,
I have tweaked the MOM in this way. It’s really not even a mirror but I use it in the same way. At my laboratory level, I have created a movie theatre. Once I have greeted my councilors, we magically appear seated in the theatre with popcorn and drinks. We then screen the present situation in black and white....it usually appears as an old silent film complete with the sound of the projector. Once that movie ends, the “main feature” runs. In the main feature, with help and comments from my councilors, I screen the situation as I would like it to become manifest. Once the movie is just right, the councilors help project me into it and I am an actor with my councilors cheering on from the audience. Over the past year or so, I have established several points reference which serve to build ever increasing confidence in this method of manifestation. I guess my application is more like a Movie of the Mind.

Greetings Friends,
I was blessed with a perfectly horrible day yesterday. Blessed because I remained mindfully aware of my state of being and found myself able to simply accept the day as it came. Blessed because I responded rather reacted. Blessed because I didn’t fight my low mood, rather I examined its cause and determined that there was nothing I could do at the time to change the situation...... so I just rode out the day. My mantra was “Tomorrow will be a better day”. Blessed because today certainly is better!!!!! I LOVE BEING A SILVA PRACTITIONER!!!!! Thank You for these tools.

Hi All,
Life has truly been getting so much better and better. After yesterday's lesson, I posted " I expect Great things to happen today" on my facebook status. And an unexpected turn of events at work today promises some really Great things!!!! For the last couple of weeks, it has been as if the Universe IS conspiring extremely well on my behalf. I have had several friends call or show up at just the right time and offered just what was needed. I AM LOVING LIFE!!! And Life is Loving Me!!!
Several of you have posted about how influential the lesson on allowing was for you...well, me too!!! Since that lesson, I have stopped battling with my negative thoughts...and I am now simply allowing them to be..not "entertaining" them, just not fighting them. And everything is soooo much better. WHEEEEE.
