"If your system can play it..." Most lower end models made in the last 4 years could probably play it. I got my laptop 2 years ago and it was a cheap Wal-mart dell computer. Runs tf2 with a little lag, but half of that is resolved with better internet connection. The other half is just process lag.

If you want the steam store with all the awesome items, plus the sprays, plus the million awesome pony mods that are pretty simple to install, then you have to go PC. PC ftw!

Edit: Plus the PC version is FREE! you still have to pay for the Xbox/PSP3 versions.
