My parents read age appropriate books on sex to me and then discussing them. The last was in high school giving me Forever to read and then discussing it especially the emotional part. When I went to college I was given the we hope you live by the values we taught you but if you need birth control you can come to us.
What I love about this series is that all the adults work together to help /teach the kids. To many times in YA books the adults are absent or an obstacle the kids get around.
Growing up the only sugary cereal My mom bought was King Vitamin. Now I eat yogurt with fruit and granola for breakfast. I like the pumpkin puffins.
My Mom gave me a large bin filled with Christmas ornaments and decorations for my wedding shower present. It was a really thoughtful present.
I love peeps and am very happy that have them for all the holidays now. I miss candy corn. It is hard to find candy corn that tastes right and is gluten free. I don't like most of the other candy on the list. Halloween is my favorite holiday because it is awesome and I started dating my husband on Halloween.
I barely slept last night too. I voted and my state NJ went the way I voted and I know that is all I can do. I also know as a white middle class women living in a liberal state I will weather this storm. I am worried about the people I care about and what will happen to them. Also I am worried that I won't do what I can to help either because of not knowing what to do or because I am comfortable in my safe little world.

I think Deep Wizardry is my favorite because I read it first and hadn't read anything like it before. Also the whales and dolphins. I really like the later ones too. It's just different reading them for the fist time as an adult than a teen.
I love that we are finally getting Kit's point of view. I also like that Kit realizes that trying to resolve things with Nita isn't a good idea when he is tired and wet.
