I know it's been said that the Abnormals died, but it's wasn't actually confirmed. I still have a tiny bit of hope that maybe, just maybe Kareena's brothers are still alive.

I'm pretty sure Mycaelis only told the guild the location of the Abnormals. He still caused their deaths but he didn't actually kill them himself.
