I am amazed we are the first team to win in Copenhagen at that level. Even more amazed Barca are one of the teams that did not win there.

Demi, I think Carlo listened to you! Changed to 4-4-2, ignored Drog. I thought Torres looked sharper but still well off the pace. It is amazing how bad he can look when not on form. Are there any other 'world class' players that just cannot even control a ball when off form?

I liked Ramires on the wing, bizarrely. He is starting to look good.

I understand your frustration on Ancelotti's infelxible formations. Fulham (a) was the perfect example. We had done the hard work and started dominating the game but were clearly struggling to break through the final hurdle with just one striker. Torres and Anelka off, Drog and Kalou in. 4-3-3. Again.

Defoe is a good shout., but I guess he has been injured for too long to consider. Same with Lampard.

Keeper is an interesting one. Gomes has made some huge errors but that is not totally surprising. In fact, you are better off shooting straight through him. Stick it in the top corner and he pulls off a miraculous save.
