In about three games, each of which has been against a side that loves to roll over at Old Trafford. I wouldn't read too much into a couple of assists against a side managed by Sam Allardyce or Steve Bruce...

Agree with a lot of that team, other than Cech which I think is a staggering choice. He's been much more impressive than the past couple of seasons, and you even acknowledge our excellent defensive record, as well as the fact that Meireles' goal was the first all season that he's genuinely been at fault for.

How about Pepe Reina instead? He hasn't been playing near to his consistent best this season....

The rest of the team I have no real issue with, although Drogba's record this season still isn't terrible, and he's had malaria so has a legitimate excuse. Perhaps someone like Defoe instead, who - whilst he hasn't played too often - has been sub-standard every time.

Classic me, sticking up for the Chelsea lads! Other than Essien who looks a shadow of his former self. I just wonder whether all those injuries he's had have caught up with him, I certainly hope not because at his best he simply is the best.

It is typical. The one week when I play someone without Fabregas, he does SFA.

Heard that he wasn't too brilliant today, but hoping that he can jam at least one BP.
