I have a brother in France... contacted him, and it turns out he was in Switzerland at the time. Thank God. These animals have shunned their humanity for a "return to tribal barbarism," to quote J.F.C. Fuller, a brilliant historian.
Other than the past 5 hours, how has everyone's day been going?

I doubt WW3 will occur due to this (see China and Russia), but I do agree this has to stop. The things who commit these terrible acts are no longer people. They cast aside their humanity in favor of savagery.

Are they Americans? If so, have them call the following numbers: 1-888-407-4747 (INSIDE US) or 001-202-501-4444 (OUTSIDE US).

These are the hotlines the American Consulate in Paris has set up. They want every US citizen in the city of Paris to call this number, as they are trying to account for everyone. This will not only let you know if your family is ok, but will also let the authorities know who is involved. This is extremely important, so please do this ASAP.

I am completely disgusted by what I have seen today. The French are unique in that they are relatively peaceful; not very many terror attacks have occurred there. This changes today. Today is the French equivalent of 9/11. It is terrorism on a massive scale.
However, it isn't fair (nor is it a good idea) to start pointing blame for the attack yet; the tactics used have elements from several different terror groups. At least 153 people were senselessly slaughtered tonight... I pray for France, I pray for the victims, their families, and the world as a whole.
