The problem is people like Joyce DO NOT CARE. Our money is their crack for the pipe
State officials plead poverty for schools, prisons, the elderly & the disabled. They threaten to release sex offenders out on the streets, yet they indulge themselves, and want to be fed peeled grapes.

I 100% agree. Knowing full well in advance of what could & would happen, and given the recent history of these "protests" in Seattle, Mc Schwinn should have worked with the Queen and had about 500 National Guard Troops lining the streets. Have them armed with all forms of tear gas, bean-bag guns, net guns, and all the zip-ties they needed. Stack, pack, & rack 'em up in piles for the Seattle police to cart 'em all off to jail.
...one can only hope the next time, they'll get it right and plan ahead appropriately.

For example, on the Bainbridge-Island-to-Seattle run, the one-way fare for a car and driver will go up from $12.75 to $16.30.

....now imagine what it would be if we did not subsidize it........
make 'em pay $30 each way year round...just a user fee...right??

...I would hope he does not go in front of an A.C.L.U endorsed Judge who will slap him on the wrist and have him take an "anger management" class...

Send him to Western State for 90 days minimum...have some serious psychological exams.... then whatever jail time for his crime.
