Yeah, let's just assume that he isn't joking, just for the sake of this. It's a great way to explain grieving to kids that age, who understand death but might not be able to cope with it. So far we haven't seen this kinda stuff with this show, but as I said a few minutes ago, maybe going completely discovery means a darker, or at least more deep and tangible show?

I think that killing off a character is a great idea. I kind of hope they do, but I kinda don't think they will. So far, they haven't made a habit of controversy, and I don't think that they want to, unless the change in channel owners was a bigger deal than we thought, and will lead to deeper stories like this.

This raises an interesting question about copyright for 3D models. I'm not the only one to have printed a pony out, but if someone was to sell a 3D printed pony, what could Hasbro do about it? I guess it would be the same as with plushies and other toys, but what could they do about the digital model?
