Thanks, great job Phillip and the rest of the Nader Team. You guys are doing a wonderful job at getting this stuff up on you tube. Is there a way to have this available in .mp4 too. Even adding it to the Nader podcast would be a plus.

Nader Team,

Even through a sub woofer the sound was low. If someone was listening with headphones or cheap speakers they probably could not hear it. Was the audio source poor? I downloaded a copy for my Apple TV, and the quality was still pretty bad. A higher quality audio version would be wonderful.

Dano,

Funny story. 2000 proves your theory long. Exactly what you argue Nader voters should have done, they did.

In Midwest and southern states Nader got between 2-4% of the popular vote.In Florida he got only a bit past 1%. Many potential Nader voters supported Gore even though he was moving to the right (sound familiar) and he still lost. Florida was one of Nader's worst performing states in 2000.

Impressive job on both interviews. For those that missed it, here are both the C-Span and CNN videos. I thought Nader and Sanchez really clicked. He seemed to genuinely like Ralph. Hopefully this is a relationship can continue through the campaign season.

I thought Ralph did OK.

The one critique I have is that he did not mention the big O voting against a 30% interest rate cap. You can't on the one hand "talk " about the disasters of sub prime lending, while also voting against this cap. The very definition of sub prime is interest rates exceeding 30%.

FYI, I recently was on a Sirius show called Blog Bunker. The interview was about socialism, Nader, lesser evilism etc. I was really caught off guard by the complete angst about Nader.

Yes, it like a president died or something. I can now understand how folks felt when RFK was shot. In this big FU of a democracy that we live with, one always knew Carlin was on their side no matter what. I love his piece on voting, such blatant, truthfulness it makes you blush.

I was planning to send in a donation but then that votepac post came up. I am very hesitant to donate to the Nader Campaign if they are not going to run a serious campaign. I don't want it to be "safe" to vote for Nader. I read a piece today with Nader critiquing the Greens for their "safe state" strategy, how the hell is this any different.

The response to being a spoiler should be, yea isn't that the purpose. In a plurality based system, participation is spoiling. Why is there an attempt to somehow pacify the lesser evil fear tactics with "spoiler free" scams.

I certainly hope that Nader changes his mind on this votepac.

With all do respect this is the stupidest idea I have ever heard. Lets say 599 voters support Obama and 558 support McCain. One for each candidate support Nader, now we are at 598 and 557 respectively. What is accomplished by this silly PAC.

Maybe I don't get it, what's the purpose of being in the race you went to spoiler proof it. The mere aspect of participating as a candidate makes the election spoilable. Please take this stupid idea from where it came from.
