What a game this NEBOSH course is, I have tried to remain positive for tonight's homework but you are only as good as the team around you I guess. Early team news was my daughter had stepped in as tea lady and the Missus skippered the team as tea lady supervisor, Charley the springer fetched my slippers and got in ahead of Chloe the woking cocker for the holding slipper role and she had to settle for a place on the settee as my lad played the lone furrow up top in his bedroom.

The night started slowly with the skipper keeping things positive telling me to RTFQ properly and concentrate ... as positively as i typed I just couldn't get into things and as break time approached I nearly lost a slipper as the neighbour popped in and neatly squared away the skin diver he owed me.

Alas break time arrive to the sound of booing as my son realised the tea lady hadn't put the kettle on and things went from bad to worse when the tea turned out to be filter coffee. As the second session started a slice of cake presented itself from the skipper who gave me instructions to keep concentrating ... I started to get ahead of myself and thought i'd scored a winner only to be told I was fik as minz coz I'd answered the wrong question ...

Having got ahead i decided to be a little cautious and was going ok until the instructor phoned and pissed on any momentum and told me I was now booked on both the Building regs and enviromental H&S courses. It makes the last few months of my career a lot harder so i kicked the little cocker off the settee in hope of some inspiration ... fat lot of good that did, she ate the cake i'd forgetten about ...

Overall, a frustrating nights homework that got finished but probably not enough to get me top student ... booed off the settee and now staring at the ceiling wondering what I need to do to get better results from my homework ... whats worse is that apparently on the TV there was an awful game of football going on .... just glad I missed it ...
