I think one of the reasons Briar wanted Zhergorz in his room is because he doesn't really sleep anymore. Earlier in the book, he couldn't sleep because Tris kept moving her bedroll and we just saw his nightmares. So he probably thought that if Zhergorz was to try something else, Briar would either be awake already or wake up.

I agree that it's victim blaming, but Tris knew she could take care of herself and proved it. I can absolutely see her making this conclusion because she's very much the kind of person who lets people make their own mistakes.

Morrachane's comments about Daja are disgusting on so many levels. First of all, accusing women of using sex to get what they want is gross and wrong. Second, Frostpine is probably in his 40s or 50s, Daja is FOURTEEN.

With that comment, no matter how nice Morrachane is to Jory and Nia, she's dead to me.

So I know that Namorn is based on Russia, but is Kugisko based on a particular city or area in Russia? I'm always fascinated with how Queen Tammy pulls from real places to create the Circle world.

For your Mark Reads videos, maybe consider doing a podcast? You could probably set up a charging system so that people can choose to pay per book or video.
