Really?, of all the things that could be looked into in this city, there's nothing better to do than insinuate that cops, who are underpaid and working their butts off, are doing some illicit by getting some overtime?

How much does a person get paid in this city to sit in front of a teleprompter and mechanically read a text?

He does care about Americans - North Americans, Central Americans, & South Americans.

He's kind of a universal love machine, and as the nation's first black President and the first democratically elected US President in 12 years, he will bring many good things for this nation.

As I've posted elsewhere, I think you all should try moving to one state. The Libertarians are trying to do this in New England hoping to acquire enough votes to make a state (I don't know which one) a showcase for their policies.

Texas would not be a good idea because of its size - try American Samoa.

Yes, that is how Clinton got in the first time, with, I think, 42% of the vote, and also part of how Bush got in the first time..... so a third party may not necessary help Dems, but it tend to help both major parties without gaining anything for the spoiler.

Why don't you guys all move to one state and start at that scale? No joke, I believe the Libertarians are doing that with one of the north eastern states...... the goal is to be able to swing elections for state and federal reps to the Libertarian party then use that state as a showcase for their policies.......

Usually homeless people and illegals have to be tracked down the old fashioned way through a census enumerator that canvases neighborhoods, shelters, etc.

I am not absolutely sure about this, but I think the census tries to count everyone because the numbers affect federal funding for various programs. For instance, a city that shows its has lots of homeless people (illegal and not) can qualify for special types of funds that are keyed to population counts, same for schools systems.....

Hi Magall,

Don't people derive big benefits from incumbents who have been in office for a long time?; like more powerful committee appointments, etc. I would think in some ways being in office for a long tome makes you less dependent on lobbyist....but I could be wrong.

Hasn't the movement for term limits run its course?
