You just have to use the same email address for your IntenseDebate account as your Gravatar.com account.

The go to profile > Picture and select to use your gravatar.

That should work after a few minutes.

Yeah, the community is split right now although we ran the system for the entire day on Saturday and several issues were raised which were very valid.

Sadly Intense Debate are unable to address these straight away so my thinking is that we will utilise it for peak periods (FPL deadlines in the main) in order to keep the server up and running.

Either Intense Debate will address their issues and we will consider going full-time or, more likely, the optimisation I'm having done will help solve the issue with the old comment system and we can be up and running through peak periods without an issue.

It's okay...we will be back to the old system once I've made a new post. That will probably be in the morning now.

We will only see this system when our server needs a rest from the heavy comment traffic.

Hopefully, once our optimisation is done, we won't need it at all.

It can be turned off. I've only left it on because we're only using the system on an ad hoc basis for peak times. If we ever go full-time with this I may turn them off completely.

You will do...once we get to over 100 comments. That's one of the reasons why we won't be using this full-time.

I'm hopeful that Intense Debate change this in future versions though as clearly this system has some major plus points.
