thanks for the response. I don't understand though why it is that you and now Aspade seem to think that anyone is "out to get you". I mean that is pretty stereotypicly right wing stuff. I am not trying to insult you, I am just saying you seem convinced that people are up to no good, and I am interested in why you think that.

easy man, I was just asking. Yes I have done a lot of "nosing around". I saw some of the fallout from your efforts. I read up on things. I was interested. Is that such a crime? I am guessing that you looked at my profile and saw that I follow Ashrak. I think he's a pretty smart guy and offers some good vantage points. You seem a bit paranoid.

I read enough to know that the bottom line was some wanted leadership while others did not. Now it seems there are several others attempting spin offs of what Aspade was doing, and the mess has started all over again. Where are you at in all this that you think people are trying to tear this site down? Can you explain?

I just wanted to ask you some questions. I am fairly new here, but I have taken the time to do some extensive reading and thinking. I was unfortunately or fortunately (however you want to look at it.) here for the would be leadership wars. I noticed your name, amongst others that often showed up with Aspade.

Thanks a lot ErikaM! There is just so much stuff out there. I don't want to take a wrong turn and get involved with the wrong people. I want to see change in my country, and I want to get involved, I just want to be sure I am doing so in the right manner and with the right people. Any additional help you could give me would be wonderful.

As an aside I am really discouraged to see that only 2 people tried to help me on here. Is that normal for this site or did I offend the wrong person somehow?

Well I am obviously not as informed as you are. I posted some honest questions because I wanted answers not to be called stupid. How am I supposed to know what those chat room deals are about. I am not as computer literate as some and I am leary of that kind of thing, so of course I want to know what I am getting into. What is stupid or dumb about that?
