Would be quite a good replacement for Yossi don't you think?

Thanks Nick. You're right, patience kind of helps when it comes to Chelsea. Still loving the white, Apple-esque theme.

Where's my IntenseDebate picture? I've waited plenty long enough for "the changes to take effect."
Nick, I am not amused. I think it's time to move.

Having had a day to let the draw sink in, it looks more and more like a point gained rather than two lost. Our first half was terrible but as you said Tony, it looked like a lack of interest and the shock of not having Lamps or Didier on the pitch which meant the first 45 minutes kind of drifted along without much happening.
The second half though was a huge improvement. Anelka's miss was poor but with a higher tempo and Josh and Yuri on the pitch, we had more control and carried a much greater attacking threat. A draw was probably a fair result but with Utd drawing, again, and then City scraping yet another dodgy win, our 2 point lead looks rather narrow for me. City will probably fall a little short but they'll definitely be in the top 3 this year, which won't be good for our summer transfer dealings, and with Tevez and Silva on the pitch, they have the quality to beat anyone on their day.
There were definitely more positives than negatives yesterday though. The back 5 (including Pete) looked solid, Branner was again brilliant and Mikel and Malouda controlled the second half. But looking ahead to our trip to Moscow and their plastic pitch, there are a couple of things we may need to watch out for. Essien is looking a little tired and with so many injuries, that right wing position is proving tricky to fill. Kakuta was hooked after 45 minutes yesterday and despite Malouda excelling in the second half, he was anything but a right winger.
But in the end it was quite a good weekend. We improved on last year's visit to Villa Park, Utd dropped more points and Liverpool and Woy looked more embarrassing than ever (he really is an extremely poor manager). And with Wolves coming up, we'll soon return to winning ways after this mini-crisis.
