Hmm, they worded that funny. Everything else I'm reading says that employers can't interfere with the time you say you need to vote; that by interfering at all it can be interpreted as your employer influencing your vote.

Further NY updates: Governor Andrew Cuomo announced today that he is signing an executive order that will allow registered New York voters to vote by affidavit Tuesday at any polling place.
