Undeniably one of my favorites. If we were add two more to the list is would be Daryl Dixon and Rob Swanson.
That's hilarious - thanks for catching that Ken.
Sagitta chickens are a new multi-use breed of chickens that are great for both laying and meat. The two we have grew to full size well ahead of our heritage breeds and still tower over all the rest of the chickens in the yard. There is very little information out there to be found on this breed but I was able to track down a guide for Sagittas that is aimed more at large scale chicken farms rather than individuals. Let me know if you're interested and I can email you the guide.
If you're already handcuffed in zip ties something tells me people thinking your smacking your rear will be the least of your worries! Thanks for the feedback Millenniumfly.
I just had a friend mention that book to me the other day and it sounded like a great read. Thanks for the input!
Glad to hear that your wife is opening up to the idea of prepping! I can only imagine how challenging it must be to have a partner who isn't on board with you in that regard. It takes up such a huge amount of your time (and resources) that it's almost impossible to get fully prepared without their support. Survival shows and movies seem to be a great starting point for those who have a harder time wrapping their head around the idea..
Thanks for the positive feedback and best of luck to you and your wife in your future preps!
Couldn't agree more Cindy!!
I think it was pretty good all in all. While the style is a little different for American audiences, it brings forward many interesting points and aspects of survival in a post apocalyptic world. Especially regarding the challenging emotional situations we would be presented with.
But like most good survival tv shows you may end up feeling unfulfilled by the end, since the show was canceled after the 2nd season and did not close out the story line satisfactorily.
Bottom Line: Worth watching
Hi Doug - not a very tasty source of protein I'm sure.. ;) Storing ammo as a #1 priority is a very smart move. I don't think most American's realize how quickly you can rip through 100 rounds of ammo in a gun fight. Sadly, I think even the most prepared survivalists have probably underestimated how much they will actually need when TSHTF.
"The big problems are when they just glue or weld the blade to the handle, then it will fly off the second you use it. " -sounds scary!? Do they have a caution warning for that?
